Multimedia Manager is an application developed by Tropical Wares, the developer that came up with WallMaster and WallMaster Pro, two apps that we’ve reviewed here in the past. What is Multimedia Manager and what can it do for you? Providing an answer to that question is not exactly simple. You see, Multimedia Manager can do several things.

You can use Multimedia Manager to view your video files or listen to your audio files. Additionally you can use Multimedia Manager to view your image files. To pull this off Multimedia Manager comes with support for numerous multimedia formats, including the following: BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, PCX, TIF, TGA, PCD, WMF, ICO, MP3, MID, WAV, AU, SND, AVI, MOV, CUR, ANI.

You can use Multimedia Manager to edit an image. You could for example resize, zoom. stretch, tile, flip, or rotate the image with ease. You can also change the way the image looks by applying an effect – like blur, mosaic, oil paint, spray, wave, half tone, sharpen, soften, engrave, and so on.

You can use Multimedia Manager convert images from one file format to another. Support is provided for the following formats: BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, PCX, PSD, TIF, TGA, WPG, and WMF. Batch convert mode is also supported.

Multimedia Manager comes with a built-in text and binary file viewer and with a built-in compressor, de-compressor and viewer.

Should you decide to get Multimedia Manager, there are a few technical details you need to know about. First up you need to know that the download weighs in at close to 2Mb – this is good news, it means the download should complete in no time at all. Installing Multimedia Manager on your Windows-powered computer should take little time as well since the installation process goes along smoothly and rapidly. The trial version of Multimedia Manager is fully functional – there is a 50 tries limit though.
